Net proceeds are deposited monthly, typically within 5-7 business days after collection. You'll receive a monthly statement showing the full breakdown.
What if a tenant pays late?
We follow up immediately on late rent. You'll be notified of late payments and kept informed of our actions. If non-payment continues, we initiate the proper legal process.
Do you charge extra if rent is late?
Our management fee is based on rent collected, so we only earn when you earn. We don't charge extra for late payment follow-up — that's part of managing the property.
What about late fees from tenants?
Late fees are limited under Ontario law. Where legally permissible, we collect late charges and they're included in your statement.
Can I see payment history for my property?
Yes. The owner portal shows complete payment history, including dates received, amounts, and any late payments.
What if a tenant stops paying entirely?
If a tenant stops paying and doesn't respond to follow-up, we initiate the legal process under Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act. We handle LTB filings and guide you through the process.
